Dogs are allowed off the leash from the edge of Sonwabe Beach to the edge of Strandfontein. Horses are allowed with permission from CCT.
About
Sonwabe Beach is a 200-metre stretch of sandy shore situated in Muizenberg. Parking is available for 100 vehicles. Although this beach is considered safe for swimming, it is recommended that beach goers only swim where and when a lifeguard is on duty.
